Another busy day for Year 5 today!
When we investigated our mammal hotels, we were delighted to find that we had guests: a yellow-necked mouse and a vole! We were able to study them and learn about their adaptations which make them perfectly suited to the woodland environment here at Stubbington.
This afternoon, 5M conquered the Earthquake obstacle course... resulting in just a few wet feet...! Meanwhile, 5D took on a variety of team building challenges (with lots of success!). We had lots of fun - including the teachers!
This evening, all the children at Stubbington (Shirley Warren and another school included) took part in a site-wide game based on some stolen treasure. There were some familiar faces lurking around... seems our teachers may have pirate twins! Who knew?!
We finished off the day with a house bowling competition. Foxes and Badgers were the winners!
We're all having a lovely time and looking forward to tomorrow!
Thank you again for sharing their fun filled day, yet another experience for all of them. I bet they’ll all sleep like a baby tonight😊..enjoy the rest of your stay, we miss you Airah xx
