Stubbington Day 2!

Wow - what a jam-packed day we've had!
We slept really well and woke up hungry for breakfast. After that, we had our room inspections... let's just say some definitely have room for improvement with tidiness!
This morning, we went back down to the seashore to explore the wildlife that lives there. We created our own rockpools and observed the living creatures moving around. We were lucky enough to find an anemone!
Then, we hunted for fossils. BT even found a shark's tooth (the highlight of the day!).
Finally, we had a sandcastle competition. Whose do you think is the most impressive?
After lunch, we had set up our mammal hotels ready to entice some small mammals tonight. We had to think carefully about what food would be good and what material would make good bedding. We've hidden these in brambles - hopefully we'll be able to meet some mice or voles tomorrow!
Lastly, we built shelters designed to protect us from the elements... shame most of us didn't survive the torrential downpour (!!!).

We're looking forward to another great day tomorrow!
