Today, 3H enjoyed outdoor Maths. Children had to find sticks that became 0 to 100 number lines. Children then found the half way point and estimated where other numbers would go on the line. Children used their reasoning skills to explain their thinking.

Y4 Music
This year, pupils in Year 4 are learning to play many different instruments. They have already played the PBuzz from the brass family. This term 4c are playing the TooT which is a cross between and flute and a recorder. 4N are playing the ukulele.
The children have made a great start to their learning and are showing lots of resilience with trying the tricky things!

Art in Year 1 - Exploring Albert Giacometti's style
Year 1 have been exploring the work of the artist Albert Giacometti. We found out he has created tall and thin sculptures of people.
We tried to replicate his sculptures ourselves using wire. We twisted, pulled, pushed and bent our wire to make the face, body, arms and legs.
