Pumpkins Galore!

In Reception this week we have been going pumpkin mad! We have been developing our self-care and risk management skills by hammering golf tees into the pumpkins. We've also hollowed out the inside to enjoy some gooey sensory play which inspired us to talk about the seeds and how we could grow pumpkins. We ended the week by listening to the story 'Pumpkin Soup' before making our own soup. We tried it today with some mixed reviews although some of us went back for thirds! What a busy week we are definitely ready for a rest this half term, enjoy looking at our pictures.
