Learning through challenge in 6D

6D have had a great start to the year! This week, we have been developing our growth mindsets by challenging ourselves in a range of activities. Firstly, we had to build a pyramid of cups using only elastic bands - we were not allowed to touch the cups! When we'd done that, we were challenged to build a tower the same way; unfortunately we quickly found out that cups are flimsy and can fall over easily!

Our next challenge was to build the tallest freestanding structure possible out of spaghetti and marshmallows. We had a range of techniques, as you can see in the pictures - the most successful was by MR, using a triangular base with triangular supports. Well done M!
