Year 2's spectacular science

This term, Year 2 are learning all about plants! We'll be learning about:

• observational skills
• what plants need to grow
• what plants need to stay alive
• what bulbs and seeds look like
• how to perform a comparative test
• foods that we eat 

We started with practicing our observational skills and looking at similarities and differences. We did this by going on a plant hunt. This helped us remember our Year 1 learning about plants too, which included the parts of a flower and the parts of a tree. We then came up with some fantastic questions about plants that we hope to find out over the next 5 weeks!
