RB's picnic in the sunshine!

RB had a lovely afternoon having a class picnic outside on the grass. RB gained all their marbles in the jar and voted for a picnic in the sunshine. We made our own sandwiches and got to spread them by ourselves. We sat next to friends in the big playground and played games using the giant scrunchie and parachute.

Teddy Bears Hospital in RS

Today we were visited by the 'teddy doctors' who helped us make our fluffy friends better. They also taught us about how to stay safe around the house, what to eat to stay healthy and different body parts. We used different medical equipment like a stethoscope and blood pressure    monitor, which don't seem so scary any more. We also tried to remember these big words, which seemed tricky at times, but we will practise them.

As part of today's Sport Relief Week challenge we became a little 'foot loose'. Check out our groovy moves.

Sports Relief in Reception

We are enjoying the sport challenges this week and have been very brave to try out new exercises. We had a go at children's yoga and did really well with listening to instructions, copying the stretches and sharing the mats. We also discussed the importance of healthy eating and exercising.
