Year 3 had a very special visitor!
Today, year 3 were lucky enough to have a visit from Santa. He asked if we thought we had been naughty or nice and some of us did admit that we thought we might have been a little bit naughty!

Planting beans
In 1L this week we planted beans by: filling our cup with soil, pushing our
bean down into the soil, watering the soil and bean, then placing it on the window
sill so it can get some sun to help it grow.
We are all excited to look after the plants, by watering them regularly, and watching them grow tall!
Fingers crossed for some sunshine...

Y3S have been thinking about trees as symbols
In Y3S, we have been spending a couple of days looking at Trees as Symbols. We explored how trees are used as symbols and whether we thought they were good symbols. We also thought about how we feel about trees and what they migh represent for us. We then looked at the tree of knowledge and created our own. Here are just some of the things we included on our tree of knowledge.

1S No Pens Wednesday !
After this we ventured outside on a warm, sunny, autumn morning, thinking about the senses we were using to explore the environment around us whilst we collected, twigs, leaves, flowers and anything else we could find that reminded us of autumn.
Once back inside everyone had a great time creating their masterpieces!
