Amazing home learning about The Great Fire of London.

1L have not only been enthusiastic in class learning all about the events of The Great Fire of London, but they have also been busy learning about it at home.

In the classroom there are now lots of pictures, timelines, facts, posters, 3D buildings, books and much more, on display, that 1L have produced at home.

Thank you 1L for always trying your hardest and producing amazing work and thank you parents for supporting their learning :) This really is a great topic!

Winner of the Year 2 Reading Challenge

Our Shirley Warren reading challenge was great fun for the first half term. Mrs Carrington picked out a winner in our celebration assembly before the Easter holidays.

Congratulations to BH who picked this lovely Pokemon book!

I wonder who will win it next time?

Year 2's World Habitat home projects

A while ago, Year 2 were challenged to create home projects using our science project at the time, living things and their habitats. They had to make something to show one of the four world habitats that we learnt about.

You may have seen our work on display in the corridor outside the Key Stage 1 classrooms, but just in case you didn't, have a look at some of them below. What fantastic work they did!

We made projects to show the ocean, the rainforest, the desert and the arctic. Can you guess which project shows which world habitat? Which one was our favourite?

Times Table Resources in Y4H!

Y4H have been busy bees creating times table resources for homework. Their mission was to create a revision guide, poster, or game to help them and their friends learn their times tables. We had a variety of resources to share with the class today and the games they had created looked great fun! Well done to those who did your homework! :) We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures!

Y3R Titanic Projects

Y3R have been amazing at creating their Titanic projects for their half term homework. I have been blown away with all of the amazing facts, drawings and incredible models that have been brought in. Thank you so much for the amazing work! They will be displayed somewhere special for all of
our visitors to see.  Our written projects will stay in our classroom library, helping us to learn even more!
